Read moreFounded in Singapore in 2018 by British designer Gen Woo, our easy-to-wear clothing combines Gen’s love of printed textiles with her care and consideration of the planet.
At Gen Woo, we are always looking for ways to reduce our impact on the environment. We take time to think about our processes, our production methods, and our product life cycles.
We’re seek to economize on our use of natural resources, and we take time to develop affordable quality clothes that have longevity.
We believe in slow seasonless fashion releasing small volume capsules throughout the year.
Better fabric choices are at the heart of all our collections, and we use a mixture of factory deadstock, BCI cotton, Organic Cotton, FSC Viscose, Recycled cotton, Recycled Polyester, Tencel (lyocell + Model). Where possible we stick to single materials and avoid blends.
In 2023 Gen Woo received SME500 accreditation and joined SEDEX allowing even greater transparency to our supply chain. We have been members of the Singapore Fashion Council since 2019.
Gen Woo has supplied garments to Singapore department stores by consignment since 2019 and sells on E-Commerce multi-brand platform Zalora which has a reach to Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Philippines. We have recently moved into the wholesale sector.
